Gerarden Fabrication & Design Marks Ten Years of Building Custom Furniture in Northeast Wisconsin

DENMARK, Wis. — Gerarden Fabrication & Design LLC is celebrating ten years of building custom furniture and metalwork for homes and businesses across the United States and abroad. What began in 2016 as a two-car garage operation run by Codey and Amy Gerarden is now an 8,000 square foot shop in Denmark, Wisconsin, a showroom in downtown Green Bay, and a team of six collegiate-trained craftsmen.

The company has shipped its work to every U.S. state, including Alaska and Hawaii, and internationally to Australia, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, and Canada. Every piece leaves the shop in a custom-built crate made in house.

“We never set out to scale by outsourcing,” said Codey Gerarden, owner. “The same hands that built our first table are still in the shop, and every craftsman here trained under master furniture makers. That is what people are paying for, and it is what we protect.”

Gerarden specializes in dining and conference tables, beds, media consoles, desks, wine bars, custom welding and fabrication tables, and metal laser cutting and engraving. Clients review a 3D rendering of their piece before any material is cut. In 2019, Codey Gerarden was named to Woodworking Network’s Wood Industry 40 Under 40.

Gerarden Fabrication & Design Supplies Welding Fabrication Table to Kewaunee School District’s Technical Education Program

DENMARK, Wis. — Gerarden Fabrication & Design LLC has delivered a professional-grade welding fabrication table to the Kewaunee School District’s technical education program. The table was funded by the Build the Future Foundation and Kewaunee Fabrications and gives students hands-on experience with the same equipment used in working fabrication shops.

“A good fab table teaches you to work square and flat from day one,” said Codey Gerarden, owner. “If a student learns on the right equipment, they walk into their first job already knowing what good looks like. We are proud to be part of that.”

Gerarden’s welding and fabrication tables are built in its Denmark, Wisconsin shop and are used by professional fabricators, schools, and home shops throughout the region. The company’s founder began his own career as a certified welder before earning a degree in Prototype and Design at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.

Gerarden Fabrication & Design Adds Metal Laser Cutting and Engraving Services

DENMARK, Wis. — Gerarden Fabrication & Design LLC has expanded its capabilities with in-house metal laser cutting and engraving. The new system offers a 60 by 120 inch cutting envelope and processes stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum, allowing the company to produce custom metal components, signage, and decorative elements alongside its furniture and fabrication work.

“Bringing laser cutting in house closes the loop for us,” said Codey Gerarden, owner. “We can design a piece, cut the steel, weld it, and finish it without anything leaving the building. That means tighter tolerances and faster turnaround for our clients.”

Laser cutting and engraving services are available to trade customers, businesses, and individuals. Quotes can be requested through the company’s website or by phone at 920-246-9567.
